Everyone in our team loves traveling and we know all too well that travel problems can be a serious turnaround. If your departure (or return) is compromised, thunder clouds soon appear above your head. But behind those clouds the sun is shining, because European legislation (EU261) usually gives you the right to a fair compensation.
Normally, it's an administrative path to claim compensation from an airline, but via our website it's a piece of cake. We made it our specialty.
On this website you can instantly see if your flight qualifies for compensation and what the amount will be. Our software combines real-time information from various sources to evaluate your specific situation. If you purchased your airline tickets through one of our partners, we'll even let you know about flight issues by email or text.

Who are we?
Happy Flights was founded in Ghent at the beginning of 2015. We are a team of travel professionals, software developers and lawyers. By combining these different competencies, we inspire each other to make our software and processes more efficient and easier for our customers every day.
As a founder of Happy Flights, I'm in charge of the strategic and financial decisions. I also wrote most of the algorithms Happy Flights is built on. I'm probably the biggest geek at the office.
Travel tip: The Trans Siberian Express is probably my coolest travel experience. Lake Baikal and Mongolia are just magnificent!
I search for passengers that can be helped by Happy Flights and guide them to our website. In other words: I do the advertising around here.
Travel tip: A camping trip with the family is pure relaxation for me. But if you want adventure, I can recommend a road trip in Cuba.
As Senior Claims Purser I coordinate the Happy Flights Claim team. To me, customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance.
