Privacy policy

Happy Flights (hereafter: HF) shall treat the personal details regarding the customer (hereafter: Personal Details) in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions related to the protection of privacy of natural persons, in particular the Act of 8 December 1992, and the implementing decrees of this Act.

HF will process Personal Details for the purpose of an efficient and effective operational management, in particular related to the following activities:

i) the assessment and acceptance of (potential) customers, entering into and implementing agreements with a person concerned;

ii) carrying out analyses of Personal Details for the purpose of statistical and scientific objectives;

iii) delivering (targeted) messages to establish and/or maintain or strengthen a relationship with the person involved;

iv) safeguarding the security and integrity of the sector, including combating, preventing and tracking (attempts of) (criminal) offences against HF, its customers and employees, as well as using and contributing to warning systems;

v) complying with legal obligations.

HF may disclose its customers' Personal Details to related parties which assist HF with the execution of the services it provides, such as law firms...

HF shall ensure that only certain categories of persons within its entity can access customers' Personal Details. This implies that only those categories who need access in order to execute their tasks, will be granted access.

HF shall not disclose information about the customer to third parties, unless the customer has given his explicit written consent or unless HF is bound to do so under a Belgian or foreign legal or regulatory provision, or in case a judiciary or public administration demands information, or if the disclosure of this information is necessary for the execution of HF's services.

HF cannot be held liable for violating these conditions, except in the event of gross negligence or intentional fraud.

The Customer agrees that all information related to him will be stored in one or more databases.

The Customer has the right to access the Personal Details which are being processed about him at any time, and he has the right to have the details, which have been gathered and stored, corrected. Should the Customer, for whichever reason, not agree with HF's processing of his Personal Details as described above, HF may not be able to (continue to) execute the agreements it has concluded with him. If this is the case, he needs to send a written request, accompanied by a copy of the relevant IDs and/or passports to info@happyflights.eu.
